this weekend was my last weekend in norman until next semester 😦 i’m sad. next weekend, i’m going home and then the next weekend, it’s time for me to move out. i should be writing a paper right now, but instead, let’s recap this weekend!

friday evening wasn’t that interesting. to be honest, i completed an assignment after work, did three loads of laundry and then got ready for bed.

saturday was busy though! i had sooner saturday for gaylord ambassadors. this event is where prospective students, high school juniors, can come visit gaylord. typically we have tables set up that they can visit and then we give them tours. this year, though, we had a panel and q&a session. i was chosen to be on the panel, so i got to represent the print journalism side of things. it was fun and exciting to know these students could be where i am in a couple years!

that panel lasted until 12:30 and at 2:30, my friend anna and i went to the spring game. i had never been to a spring game or really knew what it was. it was chilly outside, but i’m glad i got to watch. we had great seats, and it was awesome!

sunday, my sister and baby shepherd came to norman. we ate brunch and went to a chocolate shop. then, they came to pi phi! sheppy got to meet some of my friends, and he was the best boy! i’m just obsessed with him and think he is the best baby shepherd ever created. it was also so much fun to catch up with my sissy. seeing our relationship grow into adulthood, where we are now best friends, has been the sweetest thing.

overall, this weekend was the best! now, i’m laying in bed avoiding my paper and dreaming of summer. i’ll be home soon, but i’m going to miss norman for the next few months!
